The 15K clone is being made available through designated research centers in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan.

Terms and Conditions

There has been no restriction on the use of NIA Mouse cDNA Clone/CloneSets, but the access has been limited to users in academic and not-for-profit organizations. This restriction has been lifted recently. Users in for-profit organizations and commerical entity now have an access to these resources without any restriction. The MTA does not require signatures any more. See the current MTA below.,

Material Transfer Agreement (MTA)

Material: By accepting the above Material, Recipient agrees in good faith to the following terms:
  1. THIS MATERIAL IS NOT FOR USE IN HUMAN SUBJECTS OR FOR PRIMARY DIAGNOSTIC PURPOSES.
  2. Any Material delivered pursuant to this Agreement is understood to be experimental in nature and may have hazardous properties. THE PROVIDER MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS AND EXTENDS NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THAT THE USE OF THE MATERIAL WILL NOT INFRINGE ANY PATENT, COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK, OR OTHER PROPRIETARY RIGHTS THIRD PARTIES. Unless prohibited by law from doing so, Recipient assumes all liability for claims for damages against it by third parties which may arise for the use, storage, or disposal of the Material except that, to the extent permitted by law. The Provider shall not be liable to the Recipient for any reason unless damage is caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Provider.
  3. Recipient agrees to use the Materials in compliance with all applicable statutes and regulations.
  4. Recipient agrees to acknowledge NIA and Provider as the source of the Materials in any publications reporting use of the Materials, and to cite as a reference one of NIA.s original papers disclosing the Materials:
